Margaret Mary Alacoque: Saint of the Sacred Heart

But the plan of the LORD stands forever, the designs of his heart through all generations. … To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive through famine.

.. And behold, I am with you always, till the end of the age.

At a time when the world needed to be reminded of the love of and for God, Our Saviour chose Margaret Mary Alacoque (1647‒1690) with the message of His love and devotion to it: the Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Below, Bob and Penny Lord summarize the story of Margaret Mary's life and her mission to bring this devotion to the world.
